Sacrifice and dedition led us celebrate our 40th Anniversary

Dear Customer, with this blog article Giuseppe, Luigi (owners of the ceramic store Piccadilly) and all Criscuolo's family really want to thank you all....you have always trusted us from very very long time and we are so proud to have you as our special customers. Every day from 40 years, with a lot of sacrifice and dedication, we do continue with a lot of passion and love this very very important and old tradtion started from Mario Criscuolo in 1981.  We have started with a very small factory with only 2 workers and with a very tiny shop and today we do have a very big factory with 22 artists and 1 of the biggest Ceramic store of the Amalfi Coast, composed by 3 floors showroom and situated in Conca dei MArini,  in the heart of Amalfi Coast and exaclty in front of the worldwide famous Amalfi Coast. Looking back, we realized that we have been walking through a long way and we are very proud of all goals we have reached thanks your super support...but we are super very projected towards the future, more than ever. This pandemic situation learned us a lot....learned how important is the family, how important is to put passion in all the things we do daily make, how satisfying is to make happy customers from all over the world and how beautiful is to receive lovely message and to see very happy faces once all our artworks are arrived super safety all over the world to give a touch of colors in your houses directly from Amalfi Coast. Articoli fatti a mano, come riconoscerli?

Oggi vogliamo proporre una lettura davvero interessante a tutti i nostri amici, turisti e lettori appassionati del mondo dell'artigianato. E' ormai da moltissimi anni che la costiera Amalfitana è conosciuta in tutto il mondo, oltre che per le sue bellezze paesaggistiche, i suoi monumenti storici e la sua encomiabile tradizione culinaria, anche per le sue fantastiche opere artigianali. Data la loro bellezza ormai esse hanno di gran lunga superato i nostri confini territoriali e ogni turista, una volta raggiunta la Divina Costiera, non lascia questo incantevole angolo di paradiso se non ha acquistato almeno un souvenir fatto a mano dagli abili artigiani di questo luogo mozzafiato. Addirittura in Italia e all'estero vi sono diversi rivenditori di ceramiche che, consci dell'elevata qualità di ogni singolo articolo e consapevoli dell'alto grado di gradimento di questi capolavori da un'ampia clientela, desiderano dare un ulteriore lustro a quella che sono i loro punti vendita e la loro esposizione con oggettistica amalfitana. Data la bellezza dei nostri articoli, una minoranza di "operatori del settore" diverse volte hanno tentato di copiare e riprodurre (senza successo)  gli articoli della nostra amata costiera con scarsi risultati. Per evitare eventuali inganni, come si può identificare un articolo originale made in Amalfi Coast da uno invece non prodotto artigianalmente?   Ecco alcuni piccoli consigli da seguire per comprendere davvero subito se quello che avete acquistato (o state per acquistare) è un prodotto realmente ed interamente dipinto e realizzato a mano. Oggi si soffermiamo sul primo aspetto, ovvero su come un articolo deve essere dipinto. Gli artisti della costiera Amalfitana sono in grado di dipingere articoli in ceramica interamente a mano da molti secoli ma come si può comprendere la vera natura di un articolo artigianale? Esistono diverse tecniche per comprendere tale aspetto ed oggi ve ne mostriamo una molto semplice e veloce per verificare se un articolo è dipinto a mano oppure no. Poniamo l'esempio che siete interessati a rinnovare il vostro servizio di piatti da utilizzare tutti i giorni e poniamo l'esempio che siete rimasti affascinati dal classico disegno dei limoni, ovvero una delle decorazioni che maggiormente rispecchia le tradizioni della Costiera Amalfitana. Siete sul punto di acquistare tali articoli ma volete un'ulteriore conferma che gli articoli che state visionando siano dipinti a mano, come fare? Per verificare la vera qualità di tale articolo anziché guardarne uno solo vi consigliamo di chiedere al venditore di turno di mostrarvene anche un secondo dello stesso decoro cui siete interessati. Questo perché cosi potete fare un confronto semplice tra i due articoli e capire subito la loro natura, ovvero se il decoro è stato realmente dipinto a mano o se è stato una stampa adagiata sopra la ceramica. Due articoli in ceramica, per quanto possono avere lo stesso decoro, avranno sempre delle piccole differenze che rendono ogni singolo oggetto unico nel suo genere, dal più semplice al più complesso.   Guardate attentamente i piatti che sono nella foto seguente Il decoro riprodotto dal nostro giovane artista nei due piatti nella foto è sicuramente tra i più semplici che produciamo e, di primo impatto, i piatti possono sembrare praticamente identici....ma avete notato che vi sono almeno 4 grandi differenze che li rendono entrambi unici? Scopriamole insieme 1) i limoni hanno delle dimensioni leggermente diverse l'uno dall'altro...questo perchè l'artista non realizza il decoro utilizzando uno schema già impostato ma di volta in volta dipinge ogni articolo nella maniera più armoniosa possibile...è possibile riprodurre lo stesso decoro su più articoli ma è impossibile riprodurlo senza delle differenze... (notate, ad esempio, il terzo e il quarto limone della fila superiore di questo gruppo di limoni...nel piatto di sinistra vi è un piccolissimo spazio celeste del fondo che li divide in alto mentre nel piatto di destra i due limoni si toccano e si sovrappongono l'un l'altro senza lasciar spazio al celeste di fondo). 2) la direzione delle foglie realizzate sia nel ramo superiore e sia le foglie che adornano i singoli limoni hanno diversa dimensione ed sono inclinate in maniera sempre diversa dato che l'artista le dipinge a mano libera e non seguendo alcuno schema; 3) i colori all'interno dei limoni hanno sempre diverse sfumature ...se  confrontate ogni singolo limone nei due piatti potete notare le diverse pennellate e le diverse tonalità di colore che riempiono ogni singolo limone (all'interno della foto abbiamo lasciato l'effetto della luce e del flash volutamente per permettervi di vedere come ogni volta l'artista ha sapientemente utilizzato più tonalità di giallo, marrone, arancio e rosso per ottenere una perfetta cromatura del simbolo della costa d'Amalfi) Tutto ciò è possibile perché la quantità di colore che si mette sul pennello ogni volta che l'artista lo intinge nel colore non è mai la stessa ed ecco perché ogni volta che dipinge ogni singolo dettaglio di un decoro in 2 piatti diversi può avere delle tonalità diverse. La quantità di colore diversa (anche se minime) in uno stesso decoro ma su due piatti diversi, fa si che ogni articolo quando si cuoce nel forno assume dei colori con delle tonalità che sono leggermente più chiare o più scure tra ogni singolo articolo. 4) Un altro aspetto fondamentale è la possibilità di vedere la pennellata dell'artista sull'articolo. Gli articoli il cui decoro e il cui colore è messo con una macchina non permette di vedere come l'artista ha dipinto l'articolo e il colore sembra perfettamente adagiato sull'articolo senza alcuna imperfezione. Quando un articolo è dipinto a mano, invece, si può facilmente vedere quanto è stata lunga la pennellata dell'artista e quanto largo è stato il pennello utilizzato. Ecco perché, se notate la parte centrale di ogni singolo limone, potete vedere che la parte bianca ha sempre una misura diverse...in alcuni limoni infatti è più piccola, in altre è più grande ed in altri sembra addirittura non esserci. Per quanto riguarda la nostra attività, è ormai da 39 anni che produciamo articoli in ceramica rispettando meticolosamente tutte le tecniche dell'artigiano locale che rendono ogni singolo articolo, dal più piccolo al più grande, una vera e propria opera d'arte. I nostri set di piatti, i nostri centrotavola e le nostre idee regalo sono solo alcuni degli articoli più venduti e apprezzati dalla nostra clientela e sono pronti per essere spediti in ogni angolo del mondo in tempi molto brevi.
